LeTote and a $10 off Code for your First Box

A great new opportunity has found its way to ClassyinClass, and I can’t wait to blog about it as I try this new subscription box service. Le Tote is a fashion rental service, costing $49 per month, where you receive access to a multitude of outfits and accessories.

Le Tote isn’t your typical subscription box. The clothing brands you’ll receive are from upscale stores like Nordstrom, Shopbop, and Anthropologie. Once you’ve tried on your items, you can purchase what you like at a discounted price.

Here’s how it works:

You select the items and place them in your online closet (your account). You will receive a box of 3 garments and 2 accessories, which you are able to wear as many times as you want. You can also keep the items as long as you want, with no fear of a return date or late fee. If you do wish to purchase the item, and you do not return it, your account will be charged as it is assumed that you will be keeping it.

You receive your next box once you return all the “I don’t want to keep” items in the pre-paid envelope.

Not only is there a clothing option, but there is also a jewelry option for only $19 per month. This is what I’m going to start with, and perhaps go from there.

Obviously this is very similar to the clothing subscription service Stitch Fix. However, Le Tote seems to be a slightly better deal, and here’s why:

Stitch Fix only allows you to select your size, style, lifestyle (?), shape, and budget preference. You don’t actually get to choose the options. And, while Stitch Fix only costs $20 per month, you only have 3 days to wear and decide on the clothing options you wish to keep or return. If your return box is not post-marked within the 3 day time frame, your credit card will be charged for the entire box of five pieces! Plus, most of the Stitch Fix items cost around $65 per piece. You also receive clothing options from “up-and-coming brands,” not already-established brands.

So, who’s with me on trying out this new service? If you are interested, use code LETOTESTYLE27 and get $10 off your first month!
