Classy Snow Boots Without the Costly Price Tag

Apparently the storm of the century (well, since it’s only 2014, I guess that applies, right?) is quickly approaching Indiana. We are supposed to be buried beneath mounds of snow and will be trying to survive in a climate with lows of -40. Great. I have been eyeing some Hunter, Sperry, and Sorel boots for a while, and with the heaps of snow, I figured now is the time to bite the bullet and make the buy. While I’m not comfortable dropping $100+ on plastic boots that are meant to trudge through slush, I figured I could check out Nordstrom Rack for something similar, but less expensive.

Here’s the style I was searching for:

Red Hunter boots

Black Hunter boots

Red Sperry boots

Red Hunter boots

Red Hunter boots

Brown and red plaid Sperry boots

While scouring the aisles of Nordstrom Rack, I came across an adorably lovely pair of “wellies.”

While neither Hunter nor Sperry brand, they are Chookas. They can be found at Nordstrom for under $60, but I found them on sale for $35 at The Rack!

So if you are in the market for some wellies to keep your feet dry through this Herculean snow storm, I highly suggest looking into the more affordable Chooka brand. Here are some more examples of their adorable boots:

Black Chooka boots Green Chooka boots Yellow polka dot Chooka boot Turquoise Chooka mid-boot Navy blue Chooka boot

Paired with some adorable boot socks, you can rock this trend without spending over $100.

  1. Hey, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your website in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.

I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, excellent blog!
